Luke
Lead Vocals and Keyboard – Luke has previously been in other bands including Sortcode, The Task, London Indie band Daytona, Cruise Ship band The Power, and Rock Bottom Café Dubai Resident band Red Light. Luke’s music career has so far seen him perform across 4 continents including theatre in New York, and residency contracts in the Middle-East and Africa. Luke was inspired to take up music as a career whilst doing a Music BTEC course at St. Joseph’s College under the tuition of Craig Gilligan, and the rest is history! Luke loves to perform and entertain a crowd, and gives a lively performance 100% of the time.
Sean
On bass, we have top class professional bassist Sean Taylor. Sean graduated with York University with a degree in music before moving on to work professionally on residency contracts for DFDS Seaways, Hear and Now Entertainment in the Middle East, P&O, and most recently Princess Cruises. Sean brings an incredible funky edge to the band through his playing and has great stage presence. Watch out for those dance moves.
Ashley
Guitar and Vocals – Ashley started off in the music industry by obtaining his music degree and helping to found arts/music/community space Pilgrims Pit in Stoke. A well known member of his local music scene, Ashley has gone on to perform in bands including festival headliners Captain Stingray’s Groove Machine and blues act Creepin Six. Ash is a highly trained professional guitarist that can adapt well to any style, whilst keeping an expressive rock and roll ethic to his playing which really brings the songs to life. Ashley is also a formidable vocalist and sings some lead as well as great backing vocals.
James
Drums and Vocals – James has been involved in professional music for over a decade, as a founding member of his previous band Stepping Lane. James has also been involved in top indie band The Way, numerous studio sessions, and functions all over the UK with top function bands. James is a big fan of indie rock, and plays the drums with great energy, but is able to adapt wonderfully to all styles of music. The natural styles of the musicians in Le Beat blend to bring the recognizable style of the band.
